In accordance with Section 51.968 of the Texas Education Code, UHCL recognizes the 国际 Baccalaureate Program. Students who earn the IB diploma/certificate are eligible to receive a minimum of 24 hours of credit in appropriate subject areas provided that a minimum score of four (4) is earned in each of the examinations.
Less than 24 credits may be granted to students with a certificate/diploma if the minimum score of four (4) is not earned on all examinations.
Students who do not earn a diploma/certificate, but who take the High-Level Examinations are eligible to receive credit provided that they earn the minimum scores required as indicated in the table below.
IB credit will be awarded as transfer, as long as the credit has been posted on a transcript of another regionally accredited community college or university.
